Letting my hair loose and thinking about the future makes me feel worthwhile.

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift -
that’s why it is called the present"

I do not know about you, but I find myself living a lot of my life in the past.
I really do not like to make mistakes. I think I am an idealist.
I have such a strong desire to do everything in a perfect manner that it frustrates me as
I look back over my life because I realise there are many things
I could have done better if I had just applied myself more.

I'm sorry to the people around me especially my parents for not being able
to live up to their standards, for not being able to perform
my best during Suntect dance 09.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not depressed over these circumstances.
I just wish I had done things differently. But, all of that is history.

When I look to the future, I sometimes wonder what will happen in my life.
We are living in such a hectic environment.
Yes, you can say I'm thinking too much.
But have you not thought of your own future?
There's so many pessimistic happening around us but, it does not depress me.

It just reminds me that the future has much in it that is yet to be revealed to us.
I actually look into the future with optimism.
I know that I can play a role in my own life, and in the life of others, to make things better.
We live in an exciting time where the opportunities are endless as to what can be.
And that is still a mystery.

Here comes the present,
the question that pops into my head.
“What did I do today that will actually make my hopes and dreams come true in the future?”

That is where the secret lies.
Today is the only day that we really have. That is why it is called “the present.”
If I can take the present of today and open it, and use it to the best of my ability,
I will be doing the best thing possible to make up for the past and to plan for the future.
I will start taking up Japanese language for good, train my dance basics from the scratch,
study hard so that my parents won't be disappointed.

In other words, I need to enroll in a Japanese class and thanks Rachel for the accompany.
Dance to express and to be able to execute these delicate moves on the stage.
I need to do something today that will make things different in the future.
Today is the key to life.

A friend once told me that no matter how slowly you take so long as you do not stop,
you'll get there.

and maybe that's why, I feel that I need to have that strength of will in my life.
